Norwell Board of Assessors introduces new principal assessor, approves $682,484 overlay transfer. The Board of Assessors unanimously approved the release of $682,484.69 from the overlay account to overlay surplus. Board members Mary Granville and Maureen Clarke welcomed new Principal Assessor Joe DiVito, who noted that senior means-tested exemptions and income and expense forms have been distributed and real estate abatement inspections are complete.
The board's next meeting is scheduled for May 13, 2026 at 4 p.m.
