NORWELL — Advisory Board Nominating Committee addresses OML complaint. The Advisory Board Nominating Committee met August 18 to discuss an Open Meeting Law complaint filed by resident Matt Weinmann. Present were Chair Matthew Greene, members John LaCara and John McGrath (attending remotely), and Town Counsel Robert Galvin.

Weinmann appeared and alleged inadequate responsiveness to his communications and unfair committee practices, though he stated he was not seeking Advisory Board reappointment. Weinmann also asserted the committee meeting itself violated the Open Meeting Law but declined to specify his reasoning. The committee voted unanimously by roll call to enter executive session to discuss the allegations.
