Norwell records dozen deed transfers in late summer stretch, few prices disclosed
Norwell recorded 12 property transfers between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5, but only four listed a sale price, ranging from $775 to $840 with a median of $812. The top disclosed sale was 12 Walnut Rd at $840, sold by the Casella Family Trust to Kenneth and Ann Lawlor on Aug. 19. Satuit Meadow Lane and Lincoln Street each saw two transfers during the period. Several deeds reflect transfers into family or revocable trusts rather than sales to new owners. With two-thirds of transactions lacking disclosed prices, the available data offers only a partial picture of the period's market conditions.
