Norwell Select Board authorizes legal challenge on $3M building permit fee. Town Counsel will request Hanover reduce or waive the charge for the South Shore Vocational Technical High School project, which serves nine member towns and carries a total cost of 168 million dollars. The board unanimously backed the effort, and Town Counsel is prepared to pursue legal action if necessary.
The board also unanimously approved 2027 town meeting and election dates and voted 4-1 to extend Cross Street Flower Farm's license one year.
